  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is proud to announce the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists of students for the 2024-2025 school year. The Chancellor’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours in a semester during the 2024-25 academic year with a 4.00 grade point average. How to Know if UACCM is Closed Due to Inclement Weather

Winter is here, and we wanted to remind the UACCM community on how we communicate a closing or delay due to inclement weather. The safety and concern of our students, faculty, and staff is our highest priority, and there are several ways that commuters can learn about class cancellation. Please note that UACCM will  only  send out communication if there is a closing or delay. If there is no communication, then the college is open and classes will continue as scheduled. Make sure to always use your best judgment during inclement weather and stay safe! If you cannot safely come to campus, communicate with your instructors.   Here are the ways we communicate class cancellations:  The Emergency Alert System is a text or voice messaging system that UACCM uses for severe weather events, campus closings, and security incidents. Four Decades of Gratitude: Newsome Reflects on 43-Year Career with UACCM

Mary Newsome, Assistant to the Chancellor of the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) and UACCM’s longest serving employee in the history of the institution, has announced she will retire after 43 years of service on May 7, 2024.  Friends and members of the community are welcome to join in celebrating Newsome during her retirement party on Friday, May 3, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Dr. Larry D. Davis Workforce Training Center on the campus of UACCM. “Mary Newsome is the epitome of class, dedication, honor, and loyalty. What’s unique about Mary is that she exemplifies these qualities in all aspects of life and to all with whom she comes into contact.
