Cake Decorating

Want to learn how to decorate cakes?!
The Community Education Program at the Leadership Development Institute, University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is offering "Cake Decorating". Learn how to make your favorite person or friend a decorative cake. Participants will learn basic borders, such as star, dot, zigzag, shell and rosette. The students will then move on to popular icing flowers such as drop flowers, sweet peas and roses. Piping gel vines, leaves, writing techniques, and butter cream will be covered. The students will be able to create a project cake which they will crumb coat, ice in butter cream and decorate by applying the techniques they’ve learned. Diann Stanek will instruct this six week class and will follow with an Advanced Cake Decorating class.

Class will meet on Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. from October 28 through December 10, 2010. Course participants will learn the basic decorating techniques used by professional cake decorators. The registration fee for the course is $40. Persons over the age of 60 will be charged $35.00. Students will be responsible for furnishing their own supplies. The supply list will be given to student when registering for class. The registration deadline is noon on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .

UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway.
