Important Drop Deadlines

Attention Students:
We certainly don't want to lose you, but if circumstances require that you need to drop a course or courses, please refer to the following deadlines:

Wednesday, August 25, 2010 is the last day to drop “full-semester courses” with a 50% refund.
Thursday, August 26, 2010 is the last day to drop fall 2010 courses without a “W” appearing on your transcript.

You may also pick up the form in the Registrar’s Office located on the 2nd floor of the University Center, Room 215. Students who need to drop a course(s) must fill in the student portion of the Course Withdraw Form (including the course(s) you wish to drop), then follow the steps below to complete the process:
Step 1 – Meet with your Advisor or Division Chair for signature.(The name of your advisor and course information can be found on your Campus Connect.)
Step 2 – If it is a complete withdrawal – you must go to the Library for signature.
If not a complete withdrawal – skip this signature and proceed to step 3.
Step 3 – Answer if you received any type of financial aid this semester.
If yes, then you must go to the Financial Aid Office for signature.
If no, then skip this signature and proceed to step 4.
Step 4 – Stop by the Student Accounts Window for signature
Step 5 – Return the completed form to the Registrar’s Office for processing by 4:30 p.m. on the day you wish to drop.
