UACCM Open at 10:00 am/Other Class Cancelations

After two long snow days, UACCM will open at 10:00 am today, unless you have class with one of the following instructors, as their classes today are canceled:
  • Dane Blanchard (sociology instructor)
  • Traci Caldwell (English instructor)
  • Clem Gruen (drafting instructor)
Don't forget! Loan/Pell checks will be available today beginning at 10:00 am at the Student Accounts windows in the University Center Lobby. Bring your UACCM ID with you to pick up your check.

UACCM PN Has Third Straight Year of 100% NCLEX Pass Rate

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Practical Nursing program has posted a 100% pass rate on the most recent round of NCLEX board exams. This is the third straight year of UACCM PN posting a 100% NCLEX pass rate.   “We are so proud of this outstanding accomplishment,” said UACCM Director of Practical Nursing Angie Moore-Strickland. “This is a testament to the dedication of both our students and our faculty,” she continued.   The total pass percent amongst Arkansas PN programs for 2025 was at 92 percent, with the national average at 86.7 percent.   Additionally, the UACCM pass rate for students seeking associate degrees in nursing programs in 2025 was 96.5 percent, exceeding both the Arkansas average of 85.5 percent and national average of 87.5 percent.   “Our nursing department is committed to excellence in nursing education, and we strive to prepare highly competent, compassionate, and practice-ready nurses,” said...

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has been designated as a Carnegie Classifications Opportunity College & University (OCU) by the Carnegie Foundation and the American Council on Education for its leadership in prioritizing both student access and success. “UACCM is extremely proud to receive this recognition and grateful to both the Carnegie Foundation and the American Council on Education,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg. “This designation is indicative of UACCM’s never-ending commitment to providing students with high quality, relevant, and up-to-date education and training,” Willenberg said.
