SGA, Intramurals Info. & "Wheel of Fortune!"

Here are a couple of SGA-sponsored events coming up tomorrow:  
Students: Want a chance to win up to $500 right here on campus? Stop by The Money Tree Game Show tomorrow from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Comedian Sean Carlin will be returning to UACCM to give students a laugh and the chance to win some serious CA$H. Click here for more information on the game.

SGA invites you to come watch UACCM English Instructor Traci Caldwell spin the big wheel on the legendary game show Wheel of Fortune tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 6:30 pm in Union Station. Come watch Caldwell show off her word-guessing abilities and score free popcorn and drinks with SGA. 

Signed up for 5-on-5 Intramural Basketball? Below is the schedule for the upcoming tournament. All games will be held beginning at 2:15 pm at the Conway County Community Center (C-4) in Morrilton. Spectators are welcome to come out and support! Note: Please DO NOT use the front door at C-4, but instead use the side door which opens directly into the gym. You will not be allowed to enter the rest of the facility unless you are a member. Each participating team is guaranteed to play at least two games since this will be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION tournament. Here's the schedule:
  • GAME #1 Wed, Feb 3 (Team Ram Rod v T-Wolves)
  • GAME #2 Thurs, Feb 4 (4:13 v Mustangs)
  • GAME #3 Tues, Feb 9 (Loser of Gm#1 v Loser of Gm#2)
  • GAME #4 Wed, Feb 10 (Winner of Gm#1 v Winner of Gm#2)
  • GAME #5 Thurs, Feb 11 (Loser of Gm#4 v Winner of Gm#3)
  • GAME #6 Tues, Feb 16 (Winner of Gm#4 v Winner of Gm#5)
  • GAME #7 Wed, Feb 17 (Winner of Gm #6 v Loser of Game #6) **Only to be played if loser bracket wins Gm#6**
All participants will receive a t-shirt, with the champions receiving a CHAMPION T-shirt and a $200 entry fee to the state tournament. The state tournament will be held at ASU-Jonesboro from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21. Good Luck!

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals? I am majoring in General Education. Once I finish with my associate degree here at UACCM, I plan to attend the University of Arkansas Medical School (UAMS) to further my education in Sonography. Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .
