Monday, February 22 News: Intramurals & Transfer Fair

Here's one class cancelation for today:
  • Terry Cleaver (surveying) is out today, and his classes are canceled.
The T-wolves represented UACCM very well at the AIRSA Intramural Basketball Tournament held in Jonesboro this past weekend. They played three games competitively during the tournament. Good job Guys! See photos from the tournament on our Facebook Page here: http://www.facebook.com/UACCM 

Next on the intramural schedule is Ultimate Frisbee and Quickball! Stop by Union Station to learn more or to sign up.

Attention students: The annual UACCM Transfer Fair is on the schedule for Wednesday, March 3 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the University Center lobby and hallways. If you plan to transfer to another college after UACCM, drop by the transfer fair and visit with representatives from the following institutions:

  • Arkansas Tech University
  • Baptist Health Schools Little Rock
  • Central Baptist College
  • Central Baptist College – P.A.C.E.
  • Ecclesia College

  • University of Arkansas at Fayetteville
  • University of Arkansas at Fort Smith
  • UAMS College of Nursing

Here are some helpful tips on how to prepare for the Transfer Fair:
  • Talk to your UACCM advisor about applying for graduation
  • Print your unofficial transcript from CampusConnect and bring it with you to transfer fair
  • Look on-line today for requirements and deadlines of transfer scholarships and other scholarships at the schools you are considering
  • Visit with all of the colleges represented to explore your options
  • Set up a tour with the colleges you are considering, and make sure you visit the department of your major
  • Even if you won’t be ready to transfer this semester, visit with the representatives and ask for a plan of study in your chosen field of study
