Support the Arts. Heal the World.

Addicted to art and want to help heal the world? If so, mark your calendars for Saturday, January 23 for the St. Peter's Art Exhibition and Silent Auction. The event will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at 925 Mitchell in Conway and will feature artwork, memorabilia, sculpture, and more. It will also include appetizers, live music, and a silent auction. Featured in the exhibit will be several pieces of artwork created by UACCM Art Instructor Tina Lake.

Tickets for the event are $25 per person, and all proceeds from the event will support a March medical mission trip to Guatemala. During the mission trip, participants will travel to Boca Costa de Solala Medical Clinic in Southwestern Guatemala, where a shortage of medical supplies and medical professionals has led to the highest levels of infant and maternal mortality rates in the country.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the arts and help people in need! Interested in going on the mission trip? Medical professionals as well as general volunteers are encouraged to participate in the mission trip. UACCM is also currently accepting bottles of vitamins which will be sent to Guatemala and distributed during the mission trip. If you are interested in donating to this cause, contact Tina Lake at lake@uaccm.edu or at (501) 977-2076.
