Kick butts, run your butts off, and study your butts off

Kick butts!
It's Thursday! Ok, so it's not as exciting as Friday, but we're getting close. You can almost smell the weekend from here. Speaking of smelling, did you know that UACCM is a tobacco free campus? Judging by the number of students I see trekking off campus to light up every day, I would say that you probably do. If you would like to kick the habit (and save yourself some walking), stop by the Library Complex Lobby today from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to speak with a specialist about smoking cessation. She will have information on how you can quit, why you should quit, resources to help you, and more.

Attention runners! The Timberwolf 5K is finally going to happen today. If you want to participate, you can still sign up! Just meet at Union Station in the Kirk Building at 12:05 pm today (race starts at 12:15). Everyone gets a free t-shirt, and prizes will be given in both running and walking categories for males and females.

Don't panic, but final exams are only a few weeks away! If you've fallen a bit behind, or if you need to finish up a few projects, the E. Allen Gordon Library will have extended hours. The Library will be open on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and Sunday, December 6 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you need a quiet place to study, come on by. There are even study rooms available for small groups, so if you have a few friends who are in the same boat as you, get together and break out the books.
