"Just Desserts" Raises a Sweeeeet Amount of Money

As its name suggests, the eighth annual “Just Desserts” fundraiser for the UACCM Foundation featured a huge variety of savory desserts for guests while also raising funds to help support the college. The event was held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the UACCM Plaza, and preliminary numbers show that the event raised approximately $5,000 in net profit.


Fennell Purifoy Architects, Koontz Electric, Mobley Construction, Petit Jean Meats, and Southwestern Energy Company were Chancellor’s Club sponsors for the event, donating $500 each. Nathan and Betty Crook, Petit Jean State Bank, Regions Bank of Morrilton, and Virco, Inc. were Ambassador’s Club sponsors donating $250 to the event. Starbucks of Oak Street in Conway served as beverage sponsor for the event, and other donors included AMI Engineering, Inc., Arvest Bank of Morrilton, Benchmark Title, Central Arkansas Dust Control, Inc., Innerplan Office Interiors, Johnson and Ruff CPAs, and Steve and Rhonda Trowbridge.

Proceeds from this year’s event will be applied toward the completion of UACCM’s Union Square project, which will serve as an outdoor park area on campus featuring green space, landscaping, benches, a basketball court, and more to be utilized by UACCM students.

Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .

UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals?
