Finals are near...Where to study?

Finals are just around the corner, and you may be wondering "Where can I get some studying done around here?" Here's a message from UACCM Vice Chancellor for Academic Services Diana Arn:

As we near the end of the Fall 2009 Semester, I want to remind you of the study areas available to you around campus:

THE E. ALLEN GORDON LIBRARY: Quiet study space is available in the Gordon Library which is located in the west wing of the LIBRARY COMPLEX. The Gordon Library also has group study rooms available which may be reserved through the library staff. Computers are also available in this area.

You also received an email from our Librarian Leroy Gattin regarding extended hours in December. The E. Allen Gordon Library will extend its hours prior to Finals Week in December. The Library will be open on Saturday, December 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CENTER: A study/vending area is located on the upper level of the BTC. Wireless computer access is available in that study area.

UNIVERSITY CENTER: A study lounge is available on the upper level of the University Center and vending is available in the hallway.

UNION STATION: Located in the west wing of the KIRK BUILDING, Union Station is a multi-use student center (television, table tennis, SGA, intramurals, fitness room, and many other activities), but is a good place to study for those who are not bothered by the noise. Union Station has wireless computer access. If you desire a quieter area to study you should use the areas made available for that purpose at the Gordon Library, Business Technology Center, and University Center.

Good luck on your final weeks of the semester!
