UACCM Races for the Cure


Over 45,000 women (and a few men) formed a massive sea of pink at the 2009 Arkansas Race for the Cure on Saturday, October 17. With the theme “It’s MY RACE to Win!”, 12 UACCM participants braved chilly weather for the 5K Walk/Run. Those proudly representing UACCM were: Lynn R. Baker, Jordan Bradford, Sandra Cone, April Hudson, Jaci Livingston, Kira Livingston, Shauna Severns, Tiffany Sutton, Faith Wilson, Lauren Wilson & Randi Zakrzewski.


Thanks to all who supported the Race team. You may continue to contribute to the Race for the Cure Agency Account with cash or check. And if you missed ordering your t-shirt, some are still available at the UACCM University Bookstore.

UACCM Nursing Continues NCLEX Perfection

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Practical Nursing program has posted a 100 percent pass rate on the most recent round of NCLEX board exams. This is the seventh straight semester of UACCM PN posting a 100% NCLEX pass rate.  Additionally, UACCM Registered Nursing posted a 100 percent pass rate on the NCLEX exams, giving UACCM RN a 98.9 percent pass rate over the last three years! “This success does not happen by accident,” said UACCM Director of Practical Nursing Angie Moore-Strickland. “These pass rates reflect the hard work of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and the strength of UACCM's nursing programs,” she continued. The five year pass rate for the UACCM Practical Nursing program is 97.7 percent.  A brand new 36,000 square-foot Nursing and Science Center, featuring ten nursing labs and classrooms, opened last fall, providing UACCM PN and RN students a new home on campus. UACCM Announces Fall 2025 Chancellor's and Dean's List

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is proud to announce the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists of students for the Fall 2025 semester. The Chancellor’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours with a 4.00 grade point average. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours with a 3.50 to 3.99 grade point average. UACCM Day of Giving: Jamie Palm

  On March 10, Timberwolves everywhere will unite for one day of giving – a day long giving event that will support UACCM students and programs.  Today, we highlight UACCM student Jamie Palm, who has combined her determination and perseverance with the on-campus aid that UACCM provides to pave the way to a better future. "I notice the Timberwolf pantries everywhere I go. Students don't have to wait, they can grab what they need if they need it," said Jamie.  She continued, "There's been many times that I have gone and grabbed a snack to get through the day. It comes in clutch when my funds are low or I am running in between classes each day."  Another on-campus aid that UACCM offers is the Student Emergency Fund. The Student Emergency Fund exists to help any UACCM student meet a temporary or unexpected financial need to stay in school.
