Habla Espanol?

Good morning! Interested in learning to speak Spanish? In today's world, being bi-lingual is more important than ever (and can get you a lot more money, too!) UACCM's Community Outreach Department is offering a "Beginning Spanish" non-credit class for any UACCM students or community members interested in learning to communicate in Spanish. This is a beginner’s course designed to help students develop a basic proficiency in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. The instruction is communicatively-oriented and emphasizes the everyday life and culture of Spanish-speaking people.

The class spans a five-week period from Tuesday, September 1 through Tuesday, October 5 and will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in Room 203 in the UACCM Business Technology Center. The fee for the course is $50, and senior citizens will receive a discount of $5. The class will be taught by Traci Caldwell. If you're interested in signing up, stop by the Community Outreach Office in the University Center Room 100 on campus, or contact Janie Wagner at (501) 977-2078 or at wagner@uaccm.edu. You can also go to www.uaccm.edu and click on “Community” to see more about this and the many other classes offered throughout the semester.

Buena Suerte! (Good luck)
