Another Project Completed: Testing Services!

Here's an update on another completed project at UACCM: Testing Services is open for business! The new office/classroom is located in Room 207 (upstairs) in the Business Technology Center. The center will offer COMPASS, GAP, TEAS, and make-up testing as well as distance education proctoring and more! Here are Testing Services new hours:
  • Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Thursday: 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

For more information on the new service, check out this link. A couple of other things going on around campus:

  • The new Leadership Development Institute in downtown Morrilton is coming together! The historic building is currently being renovated to include new spaces for community education and workforce training classes. To find out more about upcoming community education classes, click here. Most classes listed will actually meet in the new facility downtown, so bear with us as we make the transition!
  • The paving is underway! Crews are currently working to pave the newest parking lot west of the University Center on campus as well as a large portion of Timberwolf Drive, which runs along the northwest end of campus. It won't be long now until we're riding smooth.

If you're a new student to UACCM this fall, don't forget about new student orientation coming up on August 17 and 18. It's MANDATORY to attend for new students, but it's free! Click here for more information.

UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). Students Honored at 2024 Student Recognition Awards Ceremony

The year's most outstanding students at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton were honored at the Student Recognition Awards Ceremony, an annual gathering of faculty, staff, and families joining students to celebrate their accomplishments. Every department nominates students to receive awards based on academic excellence in their field of study. Awards are also given from the UACCM Student Activities, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, and other student organizations to outstanding students for their engagement at the college community and organization. A student ambassador is also selected as Ambassador of the Year. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals? I am majoring in General Education. Once I finish with my associate degree here at UACCM, I plan to attend the University of Arkansas Medical School (UAMS) to further my education in Sonography.
