We Always Knew we were Above Average...

During the spring 2009 Semester, the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) Exam was given to college students enrolled in their last semester prior to graduation in the areas of automotive technology, business (emphasis in accounting and in retail trades), and computer information systems (emphasis in computer technology and computer repair technology). UACCM students who recently completed the exam scored above the state and national averages­ in the areas of basic accounting, automotive technician, computer repair technology, computer technology, and retail trades.

The NOCTI Exam is designed to measure students’ abilities to carry out work-related tasks that are similar to actual on the job work performed by an entry-level or experienced worker in their chosen career field. The NOCTI is not designed to predict a student’s future success after UACCM, but it is regarded as an accurate method to establish an individual’s current skill level in his or her chosen occupation.

Good job, guys. Here's to hoping that the test is right and you'll all be successful in the future!

Students Honored at 2024 Student Recognition Awards Ceremony

The year's most outstanding students at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton were honored at the Student Recognition Awards Ceremony, an annual gathering of faculty, staff, and families joining students to celebrate their accomplishments. Every department nominates students to receive awards based on academic excellence in their field of study. Awards are also given from the UACCM Student Activities, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, and other student organizations to outstanding students for their engagement at the college community and organization. A student ambassador is also selected as Ambassador of the Year. UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals?
