Fat Tuesday Absences

Anyone looking for Karen Fielder (childcare) or Josh Markham (writing center) on campus today won't find them! They are out for the day. Maybe they ran down to the Big Easy to take in the Mardi Gras festivities...or they could just be out sick!

Since we can't make it to New Orleans, don't forget the SGA Mardi Gras celebration today in The Plaza. Be sure to wear your mask, and you could win some cash. Stop in for some King Cake and more from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Plus: watch out for a hidden baby on campus...finding it could land you a $30 gift card.

UACCM Breaks Ground on Nursing and Science Center

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) broke ground for the new $16 million Nursing and Science Center on Friday.  The two-story, 36,000 square-foot Nursing and Science Center will be located southwest of Technology Building II on the UACCM campus and will feature seven science labs and classrooms, ten nursing labs and classrooms, and two student lounges for studying.  In attendance for the groundbreaking was Arkansas Rep. Five Programs Granted Accreditation

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has been granted accreditation on the following programs: AAS – Computer Information Systems Technology; AAS – Computer Aided Drafting & Design Technology; AAS – Industrial Mechanics & Maintenance Technology; AAS – Surveying; and AAS – Business.  The programs were granted accreditation by The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) Board of Accreditation.  “UACCM takes seriously the importance of ATMAE accreditation,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg.  “I appreciate the efforts of both the ATMAE Board of Accreditation and the UACCM team responsible for the completion of the progress report, namely UACCM Dean of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Robert Keeton.”  The ATMAE accreditation joins a list of over a dozen accreditations and approvals that UACCM currently holds, including from The Higher Learning Commission, Arkansas Division of Higher Education, Ar...

Pay Tuition Bills and Review Account Balances Through Workday

UACCM is continuing to improve the student information system experience as we transition from Campus Connect to Workday Student. Students may now review Fall 2024 course fees and student account balances as well as pay tuition bills through Workday!  Workday allows students to easily see their current balance, as well as amounts coming due in the future, and payment history.
