Don't Forget to Submit or You'll be Stuck Here!

Planning to graduate in May, 2009? If so, be sure to submit an application for graduation form and a plan of study form to the Registrar’s Office for each award earned. For example: if you are receiving an associate of applied science degree in general education and a certificate in business, you must fill out seperate forms for both awards.

The deadline for submitting application(s) for graduation is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27. Stop by the Registrar's Office with any questions.

Governor Sanders Dedicates UACCM Nursing and Science Center

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Nursing and Science Center on Monday, with a keynote presentation from Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.  Among those in attendance for the event were Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer, Conway County Judge Jimmy Hart, UA Trustee Colonel Nate Todd, UA Trustee Chair Kelly Eichler, UA Trustees Kevin Crass and Judd Deere, Arkansas’ Chief Workforce Officer Mike Rogers, Commissioner of the Division of Higher Education Dr. Ken Warden, Sen. Breanne Davis, other area elected officials, and representatives of companies who have sponsored naming rights for facility spaces. Approximately 150 community members. also attended the celebration. Four Decades of Gratitude: Newsome Reflects on 43-Year Career with UACCM

Mary Newsome, Assistant to the Chancellor of the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) and UACCM’s longest serving employee in the history of the institution, has announced she will retire after 43 years of service on May 7, 2024.  Friends and members of the community are welcome to join in celebrating Newsome during her retirement party on Friday, May 3, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Dr. Larry D. Davis Workforce Training Center on the campus of UACCM. “Mary Newsome is the epitome of class, dedication, honor, and loyalty. What’s unique about Mary is that she exemplifies these qualities in all aspects of life and to all with whom she comes into contact.
