Boyd to Present Photography Exhibit

Due to the recent inclement weather, Terry Boyd’s “Visions from Arkansas to Alaska, Part II” 35mm slide presentation has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton campus. Sponsored by the college, this exhibit is offered for free and is open to the public.

Boyd, a self-taught photographer from Russellville, travels and photographs the United States, with emphasis on Alaska. He spent several months in 2007 in Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska, and will be making an interactive visual presentation of his newest images while at UACCM. Boyd has dedicated his life to his work “living one roll of slide film at a time,” and doing his best to “be in the right place in the right light.” In May, Boyd will embark on his sixth annual trip to Alaska.
Boyd will donate several pieces of art to be given away in a drawing and will also have a selection of matted 5X7 and 6X9 prints available for purchase at the event.
