University Bookstore Hosts Business After Hours

UACCM’s new University Bookstore was the host for the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce December Business After Hours. The networking event was held on December 4, and was attended by Chamber members, bookstore and UACCM staff, and other guests. 
Michelle Denham, University Bookstore Manager, welcomed guests to the event with an overview of what goods and services the bookstore has to offer and introduced the members of her staff. UACCM Chancellor Nathan Crook and UACCM Vice Chancellor for Finance Linda Birkner then presented several door prizes to those in attendance. 
Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres prepared by the UACCM Plaza, and were offered tours of the new facility, which offers apparel, textbooks, cosmetics, jewelry, and many other items to UACCM students and the public. Denham stated “It’s such an honor to be a part of the Chamber and to host this event. We are so happy to be in our new location where we can fully serve our students as well as the general public.”

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has dedicated a classroom in its new Nursing and Science Center to long-time Morrilton resident Sue (Suzanne) Wingo.  Wingo moved to Morrilton in 1962, where she and her husband, Virgil, raised their family of 12. Throughout her career, Wingo worked at several local businesses, including Arrow Automotive and Pioneer Southern, and completed bookkeeper training at Petit Jean Vo-Tech, now UACCM. “I am so proud this amazing training facility is in our little town of Morrilton, and I am so proud to have my name in it,” Wingo said.  A respected member of the community, Wingo has always emphasized the values of fellowship and education—lessons she passed on to her children. UACCM Announces Spring 2026 Chancellor's and Dean's List

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is proud to announce the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists of students for the Spring 2026 semester. The Chancellor’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours with a 4.00 grade point average. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours with a 3.50 to 3.99 grade point average. UACCM THE SUMMIT Campus Report 2025-26: Enrollment and Academics

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) hit an all-time record enrollment in the fall of 2025, registering 2,701 credit-seeking students . The enrollment milestone coincides with an expansion of the college's high school outreach, with UACCM partnering across 30 K-12 (32 for Spring 2026) concurrent school districts. To support these partnerships, UACCM was awarded a grant to place three career coaches directly within its K-12 partner districts to assist high school students with academic and career planning. UACCM Workforce Education and Training Division enrolled approximately 1,000 students in short-term, non-credit training courses. UACCM Adult Education's four centers had a total enrollment of 445 from July 2025-May 2026. The UACCM Adult Education program GED pass rate for 52 GED test-takers was 87%, compared to the national average of 73% .
