Free Holiday Concert Features Kyla Horton

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will host a special holiday concert with singer Kyla Horton on Friday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the UACCM Fine Arts Auditorium. This concert, sponsored by the College, is being offered free of charge and is open to the public.
Horton, the twenty year-old daughter of Danny and Shirley Horton of Marshall, has been entertaining since the age of ten and has received numerous awards and honors for her vocal talent. She has also entertained at many local functions in and around Searcy County. She was crowned Miss Teen North Central Arkansas 2004, and was recently crowned Miss North Central Arkansas. She represented the region in the 2007 Miss Arkansas Pageant. 
Horton spent the 2002 entertainment season performing 11 shows weekly with Ed McMahon at the Majestic Theatre in Branson. She has also performed in other Branson theaters such as Braschlers, Shepherd of the Hills, Lawrence Welk, Yokav Smirnoff, and The Riverfront Playhouse and Gazebo Stage at Silver Dollar City.
