Nabholz Nursing Skills Lab Established at UACCM

 

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has received a $50,000 sponsorship for the new Nursing & Science Center from Nabholz.  

The sponsorship is for the new skills lab for nursing students inside the UACCM Nursing & Science Center. The lab will be known as the “Nabholz Nursing Skills Lab.”

“We are thankful for the chance to support UACCM and the hands-on training that will shape the next generation of healthcare professionals,” said Brad Hegeman, Nabholz Vice Chairman & Chief Strategy Officer.

“Strong communities depend on strong education, and we’re honored to play a small role in preparing future nurses who will care for Arkansas,” he continued.  

Headquartered in Conway, Nabholz started in 1949 as a small, family-owned construction company and has turned into a large, multi-discipline, employee- and family-owned firm. Nabholz has 15 locations, with five located in Arkansas and others located from Oklahoma to Connecticut.

If I had realized all the resources and support available to students at UACCM, I would have started here sooner," said Shelbi. $20,000 Raised During UACCM Car Show and Auction

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Foundation raised a total of $20,000 during the UACCM Car Show and Auction event. All donations and auction proceeds will go to the UACCM Automotive Technology Program. “The funds raised from the car show and auction will directly benefit UACCM students,” said UACCM Development Officer Lauren Bryan. “The Automotive Technology program at UACCM is already a top-tier training facility for students. These funds will ensure that it continues to provide the most relevant and up-to-date training available,” Bryan said. The auction featured a 1957 Triumph TR-3, donated by former UA System President Dr. Donald Bobbitt and his wife Susan and maintained by the UACCM Automotive Technology Program. UACCM Announces Fall 2025 Chancellor's and Dean's List

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is proud to announce the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists of students for the Fall 2025 semester. The Chancellor’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours with a 4.00 grade point average. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours with a 3.50 to 3.99 grade point average.
